Following the The Weightless World, we identified the key weakness in the master trust offering of a major funds manager in Australia (top 10 by funds under management).
We formulated a series of solutions resulting in a complete product-range refresh and relaunched the master trust offer. Working with the fund manager, we tested the refresh platform against adviser needs and wants.
Within 12 months, this funds manager had moved five places in the market share of new funds inflow.
Benchmarking for success to successfully re-enter the third-party debt market.
Working with one of the top four Australian banks, we helped it build a picture of the Australian third-party debt market - a market that it had previously exited.
brandmanagement then benchmarked its service offering against its top-10 competitors. The critical part of this work was developing an understanding, not just of what success looked like to third-party distributors, but why each of the buyer groups chose a third-party broker and how they rated the brand.
The bank then re-entered third-party debt market, taking the market share from the now well-understood competition.
Dealer group distribution assessment to amend offering and improve adviser performance.
Working with a large Australian dealer group, we used mystery shoppers to review a sample of its advisers. From this work we were able to build an accurate picture of the strengths and weaknesses of the dealer group, its offer and how it acquired customers.
The dealer group then reshaped its adviser tool kit and marketing structure. This has improved adviser performance in the dealer group's ability to retain and attract advisers.
